Square Enix & Bethesda E3 2019 Predictions

After last year's conference I'm confident that Square Enix will bring a lot more to the table. We already know that they will show off a Avengers, yes the huge Marvel one, game. But exactly what it will be like we don't know as of right now. What we do know is that it will be both a single player experience as well as multiplayer with up to four players. But whatever they bring it can't be half as bad as that The Quiet Man reveal right? Square also owns one of the biggest franchises in the industry, Final Fantasy and of course they will get us something with that name huh? I think we will see Final Fantasy 16 getting announced as well as some gameplay from the highly anticipated remake of Final Fantasy VII. With the upcoming expansion I feel like they must show us something related to Final Fantasy 14 also.
Babylon's Fall is another game we know is in development and I'm sure they will show it during their conference. We are also told that we have Square Enix to thank for Dying Light 2 and with their newly announced partnership (Square Enix will publish the game in America) with the studio behind it, Techland, we can expect to see a lot of new footage from that game.
On to Bethesda then. A publisher which once had a really nice reputation but with the catastrophe that is Fallout 76 has seen their reputation taking a hit. But let me clarify, I don´t think the people over at Bethesda will just lie down and let Fallout 76 go a slow and painful death, they have spent way to much on this title not to give it a second try. Therefore I think they will announce new content but also announce that it will be a free to play title from now on. But what would make people look more kindly on Bethesda? Elder Scrolls VI getting announced, again, the people will cheer and Bethesda need to do some damage control of their brand. But I agree, it's not very likely going to happen.
But Elder Scrolls as a franchise will for sure get attention with Elder Scrolls Online and Bethesda´s card game, Elder Scrolls Legend, being kind of a big deal over there. I´m not sure Bethesda will show their upcoming mobile exclusive Elder Scrolls game, Blades, since it has been flying around a lot of criticism towards the state and quality of that game. Can Bethesda afford yet another debacle?
We know Doom Eternal and Wolfenstein Youngblood is getting released this year, Wolfenstein just weeks from the E3 weekend and expect a large portion dedicated to those two titles. And especially Doom Eternal looks awesome so I don't complain about it either.
Since I don´t think we will see Starfield this year I hope Bethesda got a surprise or two up their sleeve. What are Arkane Studios working on for example? A celebrated studio for their work on Dishonored and the sequel but also Prey. I hope they will get to announce a new franchise!
These are my predictions regarding Bethesda and Square Enix and what they will show during their E3 2019 conference. What do you think? Let me know down in the comments.
